Opening of Hauser & Wirth Gallery in Hong Kong
26 March 2018

Hauser & Wirth inaugurated their new Hong Kong gallery with an exhibit of new Mark Bradford works on 26 March 2018, coinciding with the start of Art Basel Hong Kong 2018. Spread over two floors at H Queen’s in Central Hong Kong, the visitor experience starts at the 16/F in the largest gallery, which has concrete floors and exposed beams, followed by two exhibition rooms at the 15/F that are finished with end-grain wood block floors. Designed by Selldorf Architects, the fast-track project was conceived, designed, and delivered in an astounding 5 months.

WCWP would like to congratulate Hauser & Wirth on their grand opening.

Welcome Announcement
09 March 2018

WCWP is happy to announce and welcome our new team member Anthony Hackett, who has joined us as Head of Studio in February 2018.

Born in England, Anthony Hackett studied Architecture at Leicester, gaining a first class honours degree and diploma with commendation. On completion of his studies in 1980, he joined Foster Associates, London, and the design team for the Hong Kong Bank new headquarters. He moved to Hong Kong in early 1983, with the key design architects to finalize the design. Upon completion of the project, he left Foster Associates together with Keith Griffiths to establish the Hong Kong based architectural practice and design consultancy of Hackett & Griffiths. In 1988, Hackett acquired the company which was renamed Hackett Design Architecture – subsequently evolving into a Design Consultancy.

Hackett has designed a variety of projects across Asia, ranging from the architectural design of commercial office towers in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore to Master Planning of urban newtowns in Guangdong, China, integrated resorts in Queensland, Australia, Tagaytay in the Philippines and Phu Quoc in Vietnam.

His design flair has been applied to a wide range of projects including a 50m private exploration yatch, several private residences on the Peak and the Master Planning of the 78 km² Island of Koh Rong in Cambodia.
